Pigasso Farms is owned and operated by Rob & Heather Kitchen. Rob knew from the age of 5 that he wanted to be a farmer, he just wasn't sure what kind. After all, farming is in his blood and he grew up working on a dairy farm. Years of experience later, Rob went to SUNY Cobleskill and received his degree in Animal Husbandry. When he and Heather first moved in together, they began raising pigs. Heather had pet chickens that she brought to the mix, so they started to sell eggs and fresh pork. After 3 years of watching their business grow, they realized that there was a market for fresh, pasture raised meats and Pigasso Farms, LLC was formed in 2005. As business continued to grow, Rob & Heather opened a store at the farm in April of 2011. Farming is a passion for both Heather & Rob, and their
goal was simple; to provide top quality meat to their customers. Which is exactly what they're doing now.
